  • Produced animated stop motion videos for Verizon Wireless employees to help them learn about a specific business unit.
    Toolbox: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Soundbooth.
  • Created a blog to document my personal instructional design projects and discuss different phases of each project along the way:
  • Produced web-based and PowerPoint presentations for use with technical training programs and safety initiatives delivered by our company's Learning Management System (LMS). Efforts granted more efficient delivery and easier access to the materials for anyone in the company.
    Toolbox: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), Articulate Rapid eLearning Suite, ProShow Gold, AICC/SCORM, scriptwriting, video editing, audio editing.
  • Allowed easy access to training schedules, relevant safety procedures, and online training by developing and maintaining an intranet site.
    Toolbox: Adobe Dreamweaver, Sharepoint
  • Renovated the Distribution Line Training Apprentice Program training materials for a four-year apprenticeship program consisting of 150 learning guides and material covering technical procedures, safety training, and Human Performance principles.
    Toolbox: Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, video editing.
  • Developed and delivered training program to teach training specialists how to develop effective online training presentations.
    Toolbox: Articulate Rapid eLearning Suite, PowerPoint
  • Served as member of LMS Governance team, LMS Selection Team, and Domain Administrator Team as well as a member of the Learning Forum, communicating with all business units about training and handling LMS related trouble tickets from the Help Desk for my business unit plus approve/disapprove requests for new LMS administrators.
  • Created marketing materials (signs, brochures, and print ads) to attract smaller utility companies to utilize our training schools resulting in a 25% increase in students and a new revenue stream.
  • Developed and delivered training across 11 states to qualify administrative personnel to use company's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Traveled for two years to work with a team of Underground Network subject matter experts re-writing and updating their four-year apprenticeship program, consisting of learning guides, PowerPoint presentations, and supporting procedural documents.
  • Developed metrics reporting tools for data collected from LMS to analyze return on investment of training for the department. Toolbox: Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel

Personal Projects

  • Produced a professional quality slideshow for my parents on their 50th Anniversary. It's the story of their courtship and how our family grew up. The show is set to the music that they love and features family photos. Mom and Dad renewed their vows on June 23rd, 2012 at their home in Sharon, PA. You can view the slideshow here:
  • Transformed an "Ugly PowerPoint" into an engaging eLearning training presentation. This project covers Line Reclosers and is designed for experienced Utility Line Mechanics and is intended to serve as a refresher course for workers in the field.
